Jonna Jackson

Script Consultant, Script Editor
[  IMDb link  ]    [  IG link  ]

At sixteen, Jonna was under her bedcovers with a flashlight writing letters to authors such as Stephen King, detailing all grammatical or contextual errors she found in their books.  She applies this neurosis to screenplay writers today, editing to “The Hollywood Standard”.  Thus began her love of editing stories and story telling.  Today, Jonna is an active story consultant and script editor (affectionately known as “Red” or “Literal Jackson”) for a host of exceptionally talented international writers.  She has worked on over 70 screenplays in the past 15 years – several made, many more in production - and co-authored an unproduced YA TV series based on her life on the road with rock and roll bands in the 90s.   In 2012 Jonna co-founded Filmquest Film Festival – one of Movie Maker’s Top 50 Film Festivals Worth The Entry Fee - where she still currently serves as Assistant Director, Programmer and Production Manager.
